In this quick video I demonstrate how we use 1 simple rule in order to track and tag every single person who opens any emails we send out. This happens regardless if the email is a broadcast or part of a sequence. Our sole focus here is to just track if the person opens any email we send out.
When you know who your openers are you are then able to segment them and continue to market them while eventually purging your non-engagers. The worst thing you can do for your email domain sending reputation is to continuously mail those people which have never opened an email from you.
Knowing who your openers are is the first step to having a happy and healthy email list. Setting up a simple rule like the 1 above makes this something you setup once and never have to worry about again.
